Dear Fellow Achiever
Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go to plan?
I know I have.
Even though you wake up with a smile and good intentions for the day, it seems that everything and everyone else around you is intent in ruining your equilibrium.
When I have a day like that, I face each challenge by counting to 10.
In those 10 seconds, I breathe in calmness, compose myself and say:
‘It’s okay!’
Challenges are part of life’s experience. ‘Stuff’ happens!
Often, if we can’t change anything, then it’s best to change our response by just accepting what is and moving forward.
Counting to 10 works for me … and it’s far better losing 10 seconds over ’stuff’ than hours, days, weeks or a lifetime.
Next time you’re having one of those days, count to 10.
