TAKE THE 28-DAY CHALLENGE
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
CONGRATULATIONS!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
When was the last time something really excited you? Excited you so much that you could’nt wait to share it with others. Often such a thing can be triggered by the simplest and most obvious things … Like a tiny puppy … or Falling in love … or Renewing an old friendship.
The Action Steps presented in this 28-Day Challenge can have that very same effect on you. Suddenly the lights are turned on … You can see the world much more clearly … Opportunities take on a new luster … EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN THERE ALL THE TIME. Waiting for you to make them glow.
When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

Action Step: DAY ONE
Get yourself a fresh sheet of paper and your favourite pen. Make a nice hot cup of tea or coffee and sit down in a comfortable chair. Your Amazing Journey toward your desired future is about to begin:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Read the 28-Day Challenge for General Content.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Note: It should be a fast reading to grasp the sweeping flow of thought that the program contains. As you read, concentrate. Read as though I am your close personal friend writing to you – and you alone. Determine what you are looking to achieve from this 28-Day Challenge. If you know what you are looking for you are more apt to find it than if you don’t have a specific purpose.
To find your specific purpose, take notes (on the sheet of paper) as you read through each action step. Write down briefly the ideas that flash into your mind. Then, if you really want to recognize, relate, assimiliate and apply the success principles in the program, you must decide to work at it.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Prepare yourself to achieve one Action Step each day of your 28-Day Challenge.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Preparation is the mark of a professional. Preparation is also the mark of a successful person in any field. As you move upward in any occupation, you will find that the top people spend far more time in preparation than the average person does. The top 10 percent in any field are always more thoroughly prepared in every detail than those who struggle for a living in the same occupation.

Action Step: DAY TWO
We all have dreams . . . We all want to believe deep down in our souls that we have a special gift, that we can make a difference, that we can touch others in a special way, and that we can make the world a better place.
What is one of your aspirations?
Maybe it’s a dream you’ve forgotten or have begun to relinquish. If that vision were alive today, what would your life be like?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Take a moment to dream . . . Imagine what you really want for your life.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Write today’s date at the top of a fresh sheet of paper. Now, get excited … be enthusiastic … as you will have fun … writing about all the things you want to be, do, and have … in your life!
Nothing happens unless first a dream.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
It is in our moments of decision that our future is shaped. The decisions we choose to make today and everyday, shape who we become.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Note: File the pages from each Action Step into a ‘Ring Binder’. (A folder you can refer to each day of this 28-Day Challenge.) This folder will be “Your Success Journal” in which you design and create ‘Your Future!’

Action Step: DAY THREE
We must take personal responsibility for our change.
LIFE IS A CHOICE
No one can “program” you. You must condition yourself.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Make a decision to take responsibility for the life you are living today.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
True decisions are the catalyst for turning our dreams into reality.
You have made a wise and powerful decision … The fact that you are reading about this 28-Day Challenge puts you in the top 5% of working people who are likely to achieve Success in their life.
Without your decision to change the quality of your life, there was no motivation to find out how.
Note: You have shown the motivation required for success. (It’s no accident that you’re reading this page, it’s your choice.) Your motivation is an inner desire to be all you can be!
By making the decision to take this 28-Day Challenge you have already gone through the hardest part of turning your life around. Research has shown that only 5 people out of every 100, are willing to invest a part of their time and energy in programs calculated in helping them get ahead in the world. Yes, I did say, “5 out of every 100 people.”
Sure, they want to improve “their circumstances”, but when it comes to improving “their self”, they are just not willing to put in the effort.

Action Step: DAY FOUR
When we talk about success, we must define success. Here’s the best definition I have come across:
The progressive realization of a worthy ideal or goal.
This is your opportunity to leave your mark, to create a legacy that makes a true difference in people’s lives.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Write down all the things you will no longer accept or tolerate in your life.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
BEING RESPONSIBLE
We’ve all heard about people who have exploded beyond the limitations of their conditions to become examples of the unlimited power of the human spirit.
You and I can make our lives one of these legendary inspirations, as well, simply by having courage and the awareness that we can control whatever happens in our lives.
Although we cannot always control the events in our lives, we can always control our response to them, and the actions we take as a result.
Successful people see themselves as living purposeful and creative lives.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY FIVE
Your life is a journey … an opportunity to do something … and as long as you are making progress toward a worthy ideal or goal, your life is a success!
If you are not moving in a direction fuelled by passionate worthy thoughts to achieve a clearly defined purpose, your life is not a success.
Success is a choice … your choice!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Define SUCCESS … What does this word mean to you?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Note: The fact that you’re taking this 28-Day Challenge proves that you are a successful citizen … Living your life on purpose … Getting the things you want from life!
The unexamined life is not worth living.

Action Step: DAY SIX
Your mind can be compared to an undiscovered goldmine. It makes no difference if you are 17 or 70. Your goal is in the future! Your challenge is to bridge the gap which exists between where you now are, and the goal you intend to reach. This is the challenge to overcome.
We all have goals, whether we know it or not. No matter what they are, they have a profound effect on our lives. The secret of unleashing our true power is to set goals that are exciting enough that they truly inspire our creativity and ignite our passion.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Set Your Goal.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Brainstorm everything worth pursuing. Then pick a goal that excites you most, something that will get you up early and keep you up late.
The FUN OF LIFE … is bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be … and what you are to what you want to become … as a result of your choice of decisions.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY SEVEN
Each of us has a talent, a gift, our own bit of genius just waiting to be tapped. It might be a talent for art or music. It might be a special way of relating to the ones you love. It might be a genius for selling or innovating. We’ve all been created unique, but we all have equal opportunities for experiencing life to the fullest. The resources we need to turn our dreams into reality are within us, waiting for the day when we decide to wake up and claim our birthright.
The purpose of this challenge is to help you achieve the maximum results possible with the smallest investment of time – yet also give you enough information for use over the course of an entire year.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Assign a deadline for achieving your goal.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Now, write a paragraph in your “Success Journal” describing why you absolutely must attain your goal by then. Is your goal grand enough to challenge you? to push you beyond your limits? to uncover your true potential?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY EIGHT
Decision making is like any other skill, we get better and find it easier the more often we do it. And since our minds can only hold one thought at a time, let us make the thoughts we hold constructive and positive. Let us be looking for the best in people and ideas; and be constantly alert to new ideas we can put to use in our lives.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Make a decision right now that can immediately change or improve the quality of your life.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
No one has ever made a purposeful accomplishment without establishing a clear goal, a desired destination, toward which to move their life. The Action Steps presented in this program will help establish your true desires and aspirations. Giving your life ‘A SENSE OF DIRECTION’ in which to base your everyday decisions.
As you begin thinking more frequently about what you want; desire to achieve; aspire to be; your journey will unfold in front of you and become … Your Future!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY NINE
To use the computer analogy: Each of us is a vast storehouse of data (innate resources that enable us to achieve all we’ve ever dreamed of – and more) but we’ve not learned how to program ourselves to utilize this data for problem solving purposes.
SMALL CHANGES TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
Whenever anything happens to you, your brain asks two questions: Will this mean pain or pleasure? What must I do now to aviod pain and/or gain pleasure?
The answers are based on generalizations – the beliefs you’ve formed about what leads to pain and pleasure.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Make two lists:
- What do you believe to be painful.
- What do you believe to be pleasure.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
While our generalizations allow us to function, they can also severly limit our lives. Some people, for example, have generalized that they’re incompetent because they’ve occassionally failed to follow up, and unfortunately, generalizations can become self-fulfilling prophecies.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY TEN
Why do people do what they do?
It’s a matter of their beliefs. As amazing as it sounds, if people believe that drilling holes in their heads will cure sickness, they’ll do it (and have!) – whether that belief is well-founded or not – and if they believe instead that their happiness depends on helping others, they’ll be equally driven.
Beliefs make the difference between a lifetime of misery and one of joyous contribution.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Take a moment to describe what you believe to be true about your life and what you believe to be true about yourself.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
It’s so important to clarify our values and uncover any values conflict that may be holding us back.

Action Step: DAY ELEVEN
You can make or break a habit in 21-Days!
(That’s only 3 weeks.)
I know that whoever you are, whatever success you’ve already achieved in your life, whatever challenges you may currently be experiencing, it’s your desire for results that has brought you to this 28-Day Challenge.
As a fellow traveller on this amazing journey called life, I salute you for your dedication and commitment. I promise that if you “play full-out” with me through the following days, you will be rewarded far beyond your expectations.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Think of a limiting characterization you may have made about yourself or someone else.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Do you really have sound reasons for it? What exceptions are there? Is it possible that your generalization is too general?
Note: The purpose of the 28-Day Challenge is to help you become the person you have always (consciously or unconsciously) desired to be. Your reward will be newly formed habits that you’ll continue to benefit from for the rest of your life.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY TWELVE
CAUSE AND EFFECT
Know that all our decisions have consequences. Even making no decision at all is a decision in its own way.
What decisions have you made or failed to make in the past that powerfully influenced your life today?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Do something you’ve been putting off … master a new set of skills … treat people with newfound respect and compassion … call someone you haven’t spoken to in years.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Discovering who we are and being fully aware of who we are becoming, gives us the power to change virtually anything and everything in our lives.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY THIRTEEN
Self-honesty is the ability to step back from the canvas of life and take a good look at yourself as you relate to your environmental, physical, mental, and spiritual world. Self-honesty is the ability to accept yourself as a unique, imperfect, changing, and growing individual and to recognize your own potential as well as your limitations.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Define Your Goal Precisely
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
When you know the answer to this question, you’ll find that opportunities will appear to make this possible. You’ll begin to move toward your VISION OF SUCCESS.
This is how you turn the invisible into the visible.
The only limit to what you can achieve is the extent of your ability to define with precision that which you desire.
If you decide to follow my suggestions for 28-Days, you’ll be a different person. Living a RICH, REWARDING, and MEANINGFUL LIFE.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY FOURTEEN
Successful people are not people without problems. They are simply people who have learned to overcome their problems.
What on earth would man do if nothing stood in his way.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Make a decision right now to overcome any obstacle.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Your SUCCESS is the result of doing things in a certain way!
Make it your business to be a success. It is simply a matter of solving the problems which stand between where you now are and that point you mean to reach.
Constructive Thinking
People with GOALS in life succeed, because they know where they are going. It’s as simple as that!

Condition Yourself for Success
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY FIFTEEN
Successful People Set Goals.
They know what they want to achieve in their life.
Having a direction … knowing what we want … engages a part of our brain called the reticular activation system. When we know what is important to us and we focus on it – we begin to notice and learn more about that subject or object. That’s what happens when we set goals. We start to hear and see things that will help us achieve what we want.
Those things were there before, we just didn’t know that we needed them, because before we hadn’t set our goals and told ourselves that we were interested in that information. That is part of the goal setting process.
Your success begins in your mind - the goldmine between your ears - your own bit of genius is just waiting to be tapped.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Ask yourself questions that stretch your mind beyond your current levels of experience.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Have fun! Imagine that you are a kid again. You’re in a department store on Christmas Eve, about to sit on Santa’s lap. (Remember what that was like?) In this state of excited anticipation, nothing is too big to ask for, nothing costs too much, everything is within reach . . .
Quickly write down everything that comes into your mind as you constantly ask yourself , “What would I want for my life if I knew I could have it any way I wanted it? What would I do if I knew I could not fail?”
You’ll be triggering your reticular activating system, the part of your mind that becomes like a magnet, attracting any information or opportunities that can help you achieve your goals more rapidly. Tripping this powerful neurological switch can literally transform your life in a matter of days or weeks.
Most people focus on what they don’t want and never set goals for what they do want.

Condition Yourself for Success
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY SIXTEEN
Most people focus on how to avoid pain and gain pleasure in the short term. For example, the short-term pain of going on a diet – feeling hungry, denying themselves tasty but fattening foods – outweighs the long-term gains – a slimmer, healthier figure, more confidence. Remember, anything that’s valuable requires that you break through some short-term pain in order to gain long-term pleasure.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Describe the things you are afraid of?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Most of the things that are valuable in our lives require us to go against the basic conditioning of our nervous systems. If we want to have an intimate relationship, we must overcome our fears of rejection and vulnerability. If we’re planning to start a business, we have to move beyond our fear of losing security. We can’t just respond to our fears. We must make sure that we live our lives in the present and respond to things that are real, not our fears of what might someday be.
Change leads to the unknown, which is scary. It’s easier to stay in a relationship that is unsatisfying than to end it and move on, or work toward a solution. Most people believe that the unknown will be much more painful than what they’ve already experienced.
We must transform this fear into power.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY SEVENTEEN
Write your goal (What you want most!) onto a card that you can carry around with you. Read your goal every morning and decide on an action that will move you closer to it. Read your goal again before going to bed and confirm your ACTION.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
FOCUS ON YOUR GOAL.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
ACTION IS THE KEY
You will always get more of what you focus on.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY EIGHTEEN
How will you feel about yourself when you have mastered and attained your goal? How will you feel about your life? Answering these questions will help you develop compelling reasons to achieve your goal.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Describe how you will feel when you have achieved your goal.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Having a powerful enough why will provide you with the necessary how.
Your sense of personal well-being and enrichment lays the foundation for every other achievement in your life. Whether you aspire to being at the top of your profession amassing millions or a professional student gaining a wealth of knowledge, now is your chance to be sure it counts.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Action Step: DAY NINETEEN
One of the greatest discoveries you can make is the power you have to immediately change your experience at a moment’s notice simply by consciously selecting the words you use to describe the way you feel.
Our words form the thread on which we string our experiences.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Describe the person you are becoming.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Note: Any change we make will be only temporary unless we make ourselves – no one or nothing else – responsible for our own change. Specifically, we must adopt these three core beliefs:
- It must change. Believing that we should change is not enough.
- I must change it. Others can coach me, but I’m resonsible.
- I can change it. I created what I’m experiencing; therefore, I can change it.
Knowing what you want and setting goals to achieve them, gives your life ‘A SENSE OF DIRECTION’ and ‘PURPOSE’.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY
Never leave the site of a goal without first taking some form of positive action towards its attainment.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Listen to the Audio Exerpt from the book written by Napoleon Hill & W. Clement Stone:
SUCCESS THROUGH A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Right now, take a moment to define the next step (you must take) toward your goal. What can you do today to move yourself forward? Even the smallest step – a phone call, a commitment, sketching out an initial plan – will put you closer to your goal. Then develop a list of simple things you can do every day for the next eight days. These eight days of creating a chain of habits and building unstoppable momentum will ensure your long-term success.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- ONE
You become what you think about.
Believe that you can, and you will achieve success. Our beliefs are like unquestioned commands, telling us how things are, what we can do and cannot do. They shape every action, every thought, and every feeling that we experience.

Try to find someway, everyday, in which you can improve yourself and the lives of others. Keep in mind that most people are nice people, they’re people like you and me who want to be liked, they want to get along and they want to be friends. They have problems and sorrows of their own about which we are not aware, and they have bad days and dissappointments. Make sure that the time they’re with you, is a high spot in their day.

Our thoughts fuel our actions - THINK SUCCESS!
Always FOCUS your thoughts on the things you want and off the things you don’t want. Our thoughts are the main highways on which we travel through life. Learn to control your thoughts and fully enjoy the journey of life.
Pilots carefully review a checklist prior to every flight. Even if they have flown thousands of hours and have been active pilots for twenty years, they still go through the checklist every single time. You should prepare a checklist every morning. Never trust to memory. The failure to check just one critical detail can make the differerence between SUCCESS and failure.

Prepare a daily checklist.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
As you proceed toward your personal destinations and struggle toward your goals, the consequences of not following your checklist will not be as severe. But it is not unusual for a business to go broke or a person to lose all his or her money because someone failed to pay attention to a critical detail.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- THREE
Perhaps the greatest challenge you will ever face in life is the conquest of fear and the development of courage. Fear is, and always has been, the greatest enemy of mankind. When Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself,” he was saying that the emotion of fear, rather than the realty of what we fear, is what causes us anxiety, stress, and unhappiness.
When you develop the habit of courage and unshakeable self-confidence, a whole new world of possibilities opens up for you. Just imagine-what would you dare to dream or be or do if you weren’t afraid of anything in the whole world?

Make a list of five actions that you’ve been putting off. Then answer the following questions:
- Why haven’t I taken action? What pain have I linked to it?
- What pleasure have I taken by indulging in this negative pattern?
- What will it cost me if I don’t change now?
- What pleasure will I receive by taking each of these actions right now?

Our happiness comes from the direction in which we are moving: TOWARD OUR IDEAL SUCCESS
This process requires a constant willingness to take chances, to make mistakes, and to break habits.
This results in the majority of adults having the tendancy to doubt or even fear their ability and lack the willingness to grow. The pleasures of growth and development, require effort, self-discipline and a certain amount of pain. But they’re worth a thousand times what they cost.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- FOUR
As human-beings we are achievement oriented creatures and growth toward self-actualization is both natural and necessary. When we solve one problem, the next most pertinent one will come to the forefront of our minds. Growth toward self-actualization means a constant development of talents, capacities, creativity, wisdom, and character. Phrased another way, growth is the progressive satisfaction of higher and higher levels of psychological needs.
As you continue to grow and develop your self; you’ll be surprized and delighted, you’ll find that you would’nt live any other way for the world. If you’re already living this way … you’ll know what I mean.

Develop the Habit of Courage.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Fortunately, the habit of courage can be learned just as any other habit is learned, through repetition. We need to constantly face and overcome our fears to build up the kind of courage that will enable us to deal with the inevitable ups and downs of life unafraid.
The starting point in overcoming fear and developing courage is to look at the factors that predispose us toward being afraid. The root source of most fear is childhood conditioning, usually associated with destructive criticism. This causes us to develop two major types of fear. These are the fear of failure, which causes us to think “I can’t, I can’t, I can’t,” and the fear of rejection, which causes us to think “I have to, I have to, I have to.” Our fears can paralyze us, keeping us from taking constructive action in the direction of our dreams and goals.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- FIVE
The More You Know, the Less You Fear.
Fear is also caused by ignorance. When we have limited information, our doubts dominate us. We become tense and insecure about the outcome of our actions. Ignorance causes us to fear change, to fear the unknown, and to avoid trying anything new or different. But the reverse is also true. The very act of gathering more and better information about a particular subject increases our courage and confidence in that area. You can see this in the parts of your life where you have no fear at all because you know what you are doing. You feel competent and completely capable of handling whatever happens.

Analyze Your Fears.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Once you have identified the major factors that cause you to feel afraid, the next step is to objectively define and analyze your personal fears. At the top of a clean sheet of paper, write, “What am I afraid of?” Remember, all intelligent people are afraid of something. It is normal and natural to be concerned about your physical, emotional, and financial safety and that of the people you care about. A courageous person is not a person who is unafraid. As Mark Twain said, “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear—not absence of fear.”
Begin your list of fears by writing down everything, major and minor, that causes fear, stress, or anxiety. Think about the parts of your work or personal life where your fears might be holding you back or forcing you to stay in a job or relationship in which you are not happy. Once you have written down your fears, arrange them in order of importance, and then pick them apart one by one.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- SIX
It’s not what has happened to you in the past that determines who you will become. It’s how you make decisions about the future.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Learn from your mistakes.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
There are three kinds of decisions that you make every moment that control your destiny:
- what to focus on;
- what things mean to you;
- what to do to create results you desire.
You must control these decisions to get control of your life. It’s not what has happened to you in the past that determines who you will become. It’s how you make decisions about the future.
There is no failures in life. There are only results. People fail to follow up, or fail to take action, or fail to persist. If you didn’t get the results you wanted, learn from the experience about how to make better decisions in the future.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- SEVEN
Our society is focused on instant gratification – you can see this in such things as fast food, video games, the budget deficit, drug and alcohol problems.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Have a Long-Term Focus.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Deciding to commit yourself to long-term results, rather than short-term fixes, is as important as any decision you’ll make in your lifetime.
Create a clear vision of the life you desire and focus on it.
Discovering who we are and being fully aware of who we are becoming, gives us the power to change virtually anything and everything in our lives.
If we concentrate, if we focus all our resources on one thing, it’s like a laser beam that can cut through anything that may be stopping us. Rather than majoring in minor things, (which most people in life do) we can concentrate our energy on mastering a single area of our lives.

Action Step: DAY TWENTY- EIGHT
Quitters Never Win And Winners Never Quit.
You’re a WINNER!
Once you made the decision to establish a goal to achieve, you had “A Sense of Direction” in your life. The establishment of a clear, central purpose or goal in life is the starting point of all success.
I mentioned at the beginning that only 5 out of every 100 people ever take the time to establish a clear, central purpose in their life. Out of these 5 people, research has found that only 2 or 3 (of these 5) will take the action required for their success.
Congratulations!
You have proved yourself to be in the Top 3% of our population.
